5. Creating spaces and moving reports

Create a Space to organise your reports, then move them into place, from the report list or from inside the report editor.

Once your report is ready, you can move it to any Space or folder that suits your setup. Here's how to create a new Space and move reports into it.

Creating a Space and a folder

Step 1. In the Spaces section, click on "New Space".

Step 2. Enter your preferred name and click on the "Create" button.

Tip: You can share the Space with a specific team member

Moving Reports

You can move a report from one place to another via two methods. Below you will find a step-by-step guide for both of the ways to do it.

From the Reports list

Step 1. Hover on the report that you want to move, click on the three dots and select "Move Report".

Step 2. Select a space and folder where you want the report to be and click on the "Next" button:

Step 3. Choose what happens to the sources: move them to the new folder along with the report, or revert them to sample data. Click "Move Report".

From inside the report

Step 1. Open the report, and in the right sidebar, click Actions, and select "Move to space".

Step 2. Then follow the same 3-4 steps by selecting your space/folder, and choose whether to keep the sources or revert them to sample data.

Note: When moving a report, you'll be asked what to do with its sources. Moving sources to the new space/folder keeps your data intact. Reverting to sample data disconnects the sources; you'll need to reconnect them manually afterwards.
