Learn how to build custom infographics for your report using nuild your own widgets

Using custom widgets, you have the ability to create your own widgets by selecting a type of graph to show and by choosing a metric straight from the API library. Afterwards, you can save it as a widget template for future reports.

If there is a widget you cannot find in the pre-made selection, you can build it yourself. Below, you will find a guide on how to do that.

Step 1. Click on "Charts", then select a type of widget you would like to add to the report:


Step 2. Click on the widget to open the settings bar. Here, you can add a widget title/ description and assign metrics and/or dimensions.


Depending on the type of widget you've selected, you can find more actions available to customise your custom widget:

1. You can add/change or remove the widget icon:


Or you can change the widget icon by clicking here:


2. Add and delete columns in a table:

3. Choose a metric/dimension that you want the widget to be sorted by:

4. Switch to a different report type:

5. Add filters to your data:


Step 4. When you are happy with the widget, you can easily save it as a widget template. Saved widgets can be found under "Widget templates":
