How to create Google Ads Gender and Age widgets

Google Ads stores gender and age range data in separate report types. Learn how to pick the right one so your demographic widgets show the data correctly.

Google Ads tracks who sees your ads by gender and age range, but each requires its own widget with a specific setup. If you've ever added a table and couldn't find the right dimension, the steps below will get you sorted.

Note: It's not possible to show gender and age range in the same widget, because Google Ads API stores them as separate datasets, so each requires its own widget with its own report type.

Step 2. With the widget selected, change the report type to "Gender View"
