By knowing how to manage icons effectively, you can make your reports more visually appealing and easier to understand.

Changing Icons on a Widget

You can customize the icon displayed on a widget to better represent the data it's showing. Follow these steps:

How to Change a Widget Icon

  1. Click on the widget where you want to change the icon.

  2. In the widget settings on the right drawer, locate the "Metric" section.

  3. Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the metric name.

  4. Select “Change icon” from the dropdown menu.

  5. Choose a new icon from the available categories (Multicolor & Light icons) or find icon for a specific look using keywords.

Here are several other ways you can change the widget icons:

Note: The selected icon will be applied to that specific metric within the widget.

Removing an Icon from a Widget

If you’d like to remove an icon entirely from a widget, follow these steps:

How to Remove an Icon

  1. Go to the metric level - not just the widget level.

  2. Find the metric used in the widget and click the three dots (⋮) next to its name.

  3. Select “Remove icon” from the dropdown menu.

Important: Icons must be removed at the metric level, not the widget level. Attempting to remove them from the widget interface alone will not work since you won't find that option.

Tips for Managing Widget Icons

  • Customize icons to visually categorize metrics (e.g., using money icons for revenue metrics).

  • Use search when browsing icons to find the best match quickly.

  • Keep dashboards clean by removing unnecessary icons for a simpler, more streamlined view.
