What You Can Do With AI-Powered Widget Creation

This AI functionality is part of Whatagraph IQ, our new intelligent assistant built to help you create and customize reports effortlessly. No coding, no formulas, just results.

Whatagraph’s IQ feature lets you draw-to-place widgets directly in your report and generate custom visualizations with just a prompt. This helps you build faster, save time, and create exactly what you need. No manual configuration required!

How to Create a Widget Using AI

  1. Draw to Place Your Widget

    - Open your report and look for a space in your grid.
    - Click and drag on the report grid to draw the widget’s placement and desired size.

  2. Enter Your Prompt
Once your widget is placed, you’ll be prompted to describe what you want to see.

    - Type your request in natural language.

    You can include:
Widget type (e.g., bar chart, table, KPI)
Metrics or dimensions (e.g., sessions, conversions)
Filters or time ranges (e.g., last 30 days, by country)

    Examples:
“Show a line chart of Facebook impressions for the last 3 months”
“Display a table with top 5 campaigns by CTR this week”

  3. Let AI Generate Your Widget

    - Once you enter the prompt, the AI will analyze it and generate the widget automatically within the space you drew.
    - If your prompt is generic (e.g., “Show Google Ads data”), AI will choose the best visual to represent the data.

Important: The more specific your prompt, the more accurate the widget will be.

How to Remove a Widget You Don’t Want

If the widget generated isn’t what you expected, you can easily remove it by clicking the “X” icon in the top-right corner of the widget.

Once you remove a widget, you can then redraw and re-prompt it as needed. You can also apply IQ quick changes to edit it.
