How to Create an Overview in Whatagraph

Creating an overview in Whatagraph is a simple and efficient way to visualize data from multiple sources in one place. In this article, we will guide you through the process of creating an overview and customizing it to your needs.

  1. By clicking on "Overview" in the platform it will prompt you to create a new Overview(if none have been created). After that, you will be able to choose whether you want to create a "Cross-channel" overview or "Single-Channel". After choosing one of them, you will be able to choose the sources that you want to use in the Overview.

Cross Channel allows you to visualise data from data blends(ex. data blend of Google Ads and GA4 sources) and source groups

Single Channel allows you to visualise data for sources from one chosen channel (ex. Facebook Page)

  2. After selecting the type of overview you want to create, you can choose the sources that you want to include in it. Once you have chosen your sources, you can then select the dimensions/tags and metrics that you want to see in the overview:

If you would like to use Source Groups in your Overview, you can learn how to do so in the following guide here

Customizing Your Overview

You also have the option to sort the overview by a specific metric or dimension. In the Settings, you can rename the overview, choose how many numbers show up after the comma, and how the comparison data is displayed.

In the "Actions" tab, you can also rename the overview or remove it entirely:
