Filter Your Data Sources and Channels
Easily narrow down your list of connected data sources in Whatagraph by using filters. This helps you quickly find the exact source or channel you need, especially when managing multiple clients or campaigns.
You can filter data sources by the following criteria:
Channel (e.g., Facebook, Google Analytics 4, LinkedIn)
Connected account (the user who connected the source)
Tags (custom labels you assign to sources)
Spaces (organizational folders within Whatagraph)
Currency (the default currency for each source)
Status (Only active sources or only sources with issues)
Important: Filtering sources only changes the view within the source management panel; it does not affect how data is pulled or shown in reports.
Organize Your Data Sources for Better Reporting
Proper organization helps ensure your reports stay clean, relevant, and easy to manage, especially when working with multiple clients or teams.
Assign Sources to Specific Spaces
If you want to limit which data sources appear in specific reports, assign them to Spaces. A Space acts like a folder or environment within Whatagraph.
Note: Sources assigned to a Space will only appear as selectable options within that Space. This helps reduce clutter and maintain separation between client or team environments.
Use Custom Tags
Tags let you label sources based on campaign, region, client, or any custom logic.
Set the Original Currency for Each Source
If you're working with multiple currencies, set a default/original currency for each data source. This ensures consistency across your reports and calculations.
How to transfer a source
Select a source that was either connected by a different account or by the account you're currently logged into. Once selected, click “Transfer source ownership.” Then, choose one of the channel accounts that have already been added under your account to complete the transfer.
