If you have ever added a widget and it didn't show the correct currency sign that you would like to use, here are the steps on how to change it: 

Step 1. Click on a widget and then click the "Settings" section:

Step 2. Choose the currency that you would like the widget to display: ​

You can also change the currency display, by grouping more than one widget, by using "Command" <code>(CMD)</code> or "Control"<code>(CTRL)</code> keys and then clicking on the widgets that you would like to group:
