Managing metrics and customising formulas in widgets is essential for tailoring data presentations and analyses in Whatagraph Team. Below, we provide step-by-step guidance on modifying metric colors for efficient reporting.
Changing Metric Colors
You can change the colors of your metrics within widgets using the following methods:
Using Widget Colors
Open the widget in which you want to change the metric colors.
Follow the steps outlined in the Widget Colors Guide.
Using Custom Formulas
Create a custom formula for the metric.
Adjust the Increase setting to either "Negative" or "Positive."
For further assistance, refer to the Custom Formula Guide.
Using Custom Metrics
Create a custom metric with a formula rule in the "Organize" -> "Metrics" tab
Change the "Increase" to either "Negative" or "Positive".
For a detailed view on how to create custom metrics, refer to How to Set Up and Apply Custom Metrics
Tip: If the color adjustment does not apply as expected, change the Increase setting from "Negative" to "Positive", or "Positive" to "Negative, to see if that would show the expected result.
