How to customize your report colors

Set custom colors for a single report, or save a brand theme you can apply across your whole team.

Your reports don't have to use Whatagraph's default look. You can match them to your brand - or your client's - by changing the colors, fonts, header, and footer.

There are two ways to do this: customize a single report, or save a theme that anyone on your team can apply to any report.

On a single report

Step 1. Open the report you want to edit and go to "Themes" in the right sidebar.

From here you can change colors, fonts, and the header and footer.

Note: Header & Footer is part of the Custom Branding feature. Check the pricing page to see which plans include it.

You can also generate a theme automatically from a brand color, a written prompt, or an uploaded logo - using Whatagraph IQ.

Step 2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the section you want to edit.

Tip: If your report has chart widgets, also change the colors in the Chart section - chart colors are set separately from the general theme.

Step 3. Make your changes and select "Save changes".

The change only applies to this report.

Across your whole team (global theme)

Step 1. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and go to Settings -> Custom Branding

Step 2. Select "Custom Branding colors" and then "Create new theme"

Step 3. Set your colors, font, header and footer, and click "Create new theme" again to save.

Your new theme is now available to apply to any report on your team.

Note: If you set a theme as "Active", it will be applied automatically to every new report created by anyone on your team.
