How to easily customize report branding with Whatagraph IQ

Use Whatagraph IQ to generate a report theme from a text prompt or an image, then save it for reuse across your team.

Whatagraph IQ can generate a full report theme - colors, fonts, and accents - from a short text prompt or an uploaded image. It's the fastest way to match your reports to a brand without setting each color by hand.

Open the Theme settings

Step 1. Open the report you want to customize.

Step 2. Click "Themes" in the right navigation section.

Generate a theme with IQ

Step 1. In the theme settings, click "Enhance theme style with IQ".

Step 2. Choose how you want to generate the theme:

  • Text prompt - describe the look you want, for example "Use teal and warm grey, modern and minimal."

  • Upload image - IQ extracts a color palette from your image. A logo or brand asset works best.

Step 3. Click the arrow button to generate. IQ applies the new theme to your report straight away.

Afterwards, make sure to click on "Save Changes" so that your report is saved with the new colors

Tip: If your brand has specific HEX codes, use IQ to generate a starting point and then fine-tune the exact values manually.

Fine-tune the theme manually

After IQ generates the theme, you can keep adjusting it:

  • Scroll down to change individual colors used across the report.

  • Modify fonts and other visual elements as needed.

Note: If your report has charts that need extra colors, click the + button in the charts color section to add more.

Save the theme for reuse

To use this theme on other reports, tick "Save as Global Theme" and click "Save Changes" before closing the settings.

Once saved, the theme is available in your team's theme library and can be applied to any report. πŸŽ‰
