Creating a BigQuery account might seem like an overwhelming task, but we prepared a short guide that takes you through the process with ease.
Create a Google account (if you don’t have one)
Navigate to Google Console
Authenticate your Google account (this account will be the account used for billing)
Read and accept the terms of service
Follow the set-up guide and put in all the required details, such as the organization's name, etc.
Set up a billing account (you will not need to pay yet, it is just a required step on the BigQuery side). More info here
Create a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) project
Enable the BigQuery API for your project. This can be done through the GCP Console
Provide permissions for Whatagraph Data transfer functionality
Service account name: whatagraph-etl@whatagraph.iam.gserviceaccount.com
Roles: BigQuery Data Editor & BigQuery Job User
With your BigQuery account created, you are now able to use it together with Whatagraph to transfer and later visualize data from a variety of sources.
