In order to connect a Shopify store to your Whatagraph account, you will need to fill in the following fields which can be seen in the screenshot below. This article will help you find the required information. We understand this process is quite cumbersome. However, this is a temporary source connection flow to ensure a stable API connection, while the team is investigating potential solutions to improve it in the future.

Get Shop URL:

  1. When logged into your Shopify account, click on 'Settings' (button in the bottom left corner of the screen):

  2. You will see your shop URL on the top of opened new pop-up window:

Get Access Token:

  1. In the Settings menu, click on 'Apps and sales channels':

  2. Click the 'Develop apps' or 'Develop apps for your store' button:

  3. Click the 'Create an app' button:

  4. Give the app a memorable name:

  5. Select 'Configure Admin API scopes':

  6. Tick the following scopes and click “Save”:

    1. Read_analytics

    2. Read_assigned_fulfillment_orders

    3. Read_customers

    4. Read_discounts

    5. Read_draft_orders

    6. Read_fulfillments

    7. Read_gift_cards

    8. Read_inventory

    9. Read_locations

    10. Read_marketing_events

    11. Read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders

    12. Read_orders

    13. Read_product_listings

    14. Read_products

    15. Read_reports

    16. Read_shipping

    17. Read_locales

    18. Read_third_party_fulfillment_orders

  7. Click 'Install App':

  8. Once the app is installed, click 'Reveal token once', copy it, and paste it to the required field in Whatagraph:

  9. Click the 'Add account' button on Whatagraph to connect it:
