Integrating StackAdapt with Whatagraph allows you to automatically pull campaign and performance data into your reports, streamlining optimisation and reporting.

Step 1: Understand the Role of the GraphQL Token

Whatagraph uses StackAdapt’s GraphQL API to access campaign data. This requires a GraphQL token, which you can get by contacting StackAdapt support.

Important:

StackAdapt tokens can be generated with access to multiple advertiser accounts.

But because the StackAdapt API does not support filtering data by advertiser ID, using a token tied to multiple advertisers causes connection failures. Whatagraph won't know which advertiser's data to pull.

Step 2: Request a Token Scoped to a Single Advertiser

When contacting StackAdapt to request your token, make sure to:

  1. Specify the advertiser account you want to integrate.

  2. Clearly request that the token be limited to one advertiser only.

This ensures Whatagraph can access and display the right data without conflicts.

Step 3: Connect StackAdapt to Whatagraph

Once you have the correctly scoped token:

  1. Go to Data Sources in Whatagraph.

  2. Select StackAdapt from the list of integrations.

  3. Select the option to add an account.

  4. Paste the GraphQL access token from Stackadapt. Then click 'Add an account' to add the account to Whatagraph.

  5. You will now see the newly added account under the list of accounts.

6. Click on the newly added account, and you will see the source available. Click on the source and proceed to 'Connect your data'.

The source should now be connected to Whatagraph 🎉

You should now see your StackAdapt campaigns in Whatagraph.
