What Does "Data Source" Mean?

A data source is any single account, property, or page you connect to Whatagraph. Each one uses one source credit from your plan, so knowing what counts helps you manage your credit usage.

The rule is consistent across every channel: one account or property = one data source. For example:

  • 1 Google Analytics 4 property = 1 data source

  • 1 Facebook Ads account = 1 data source

  • 1 Instagram business page = 1 data source

  • 1 Google Ads account = 1 data source

Blends and Source Groups also each consume one source credit, on top of the individual sources inside them.

Example: Connect 1 GA4 property, 3 Facebook Ads accounts, and 2 Instagram pages, that's 6 data sources and 6 credits used.
