Media widgets show video thumbnails from your YouTube Source alongside the metrics you choose. Unlike most channels, YouTube does not fill the widget automatically: you pick the videos you want to display by hand, and you can select more than one.
How YouTube media widgets differ from other channels
For channels like LinkedIn Ads, a media widget pulls creatives automatically based on the dimensions and metrics you set. YouTube works differently. You choose each video manually using the Videos selector in the widget settings, so nothing appears in the widget until you have picked at least one video.
YouTube media widgets support only one report type: Video performance.
Note: Because the selection is manual, a YouTube media widget will not add newly published videos on its own. When you publish new videos you want to feature, open the widget and add them.
