Before starting the set-up, make sure you are logged in to the Shopify store you would like to connect, and ensure that your Shopify account has all of the necessary permissions.

read_users permission is necessary to view "Sales Over Time" report type data; otherwise, the data can be viewed with "Orders Over Time" report type instead.

To have this permission, the store needs to be on Plus/Advanced plans or request Shopify's support to enable this permission for the installed Fivetran app in their shop
How to connect a Shopify source
Step 1. In the Sources section, click on "Connect new source" and select "Shopify(collaborators)" channel.
Step 2. Enter the name of the shop you want to connect. You can find it in the Shopify "Settings" -> "Domains" section.
The name of the shop is at the beginning of the domain. If you see shopname.myshopify.com. Then you will need to enter shopname in the "Shop Name" section to connect your source
Step 3. After entering the shop name, click on "Add an account"

Step 4. Once you are redirected to Fivetran's website, click on "Authorize" button
Make sure you are only connecting one source at a time. If you select more than one, the connection will fail.
Step 5. When you are back in Whatagraph, select the source and click on "Connect your data"
Once the source is connected, it may take up to 24-48 hours for the data to appear in the widgets.
