What are Source Groups?

Do you have countless sources from which you would want to show data from?

Source groups are here to make your metric aggregation tasks easier.

You can now group single or cross-channel sources into groups and report on their aggregated metrics without creating custom formulas.

To start, you would need to go to the Organize tab to view your existing source groups and create new ones.

How to create source groups?

Step 1: To create a source group, you would first need to click Create New and select the 'Source group' option.

Step 2: You will see the section where you can add details regarding your source group. Such as the name and the description of the source group.

Step 3: On scrolling down, you will find the option to select different channels where you want to aggregate the data.

You could select a single source or multiple channels from the same category.

Note: you cannot select two channels from different categories.

Step 4: You would then see the available report types and metrics that can be aggregated across those channel(s).

Step 5: After scrolling down further, you can select sources from the channels selected above to aggregate data from.

Step 6: After selecting the sources, click 'Save changes' and 'Create source group.'

Your Source Group is now ready to use in the reports and overview 🥳
