We are excited to announce that Whatagraph released a new space that you might be interested in. There are many different terms to describe it, such as unifying, aggregating, formatting, and cleaning the data, as well as many others. But we chose to call it Organize.
Simply speaking, it should help you organize data inside the reports in a way that is easy to digest for your teammates and the end reader. Here are a few examples of tasks that Data Transformation can help you with:
Bringing order to cross-channel data;
Making the reports easier to read;
Grouping data in a way that makes sense;
Creating data blends from various data sources;
To be precise, we can even look into some real problems that can be easily solved via Organize.
Dimension names are different for each integration, confusing the end reader of the report;
Campaign names use confusing abbreviations that are not reader-friendly;
Different integrations do not return the same names for specific countries;
Being unable to group campaign results by specific keywords or campaigns;
Being unable to segment countries into specific target groups or tiers;
The API output in tables sometimes gives back values like [not set] or [unknown], which need to be changed for the reader to be understood;
Metric names are different across various integrations, so remembering what each client considers as a conversion can be tricky;
Displaying data from different channels in the same table;
Globally updating custom metrics formulas;
And much more...
Your ability to use Organize and create data blends will depend on your current subscription plan - you can read more about our Source Credit plans in this article.
You will find the "Organize" button on the top navigation bar:
