Adding New Data Sources

You can connect new sources in Whatagraph via the Data Sources section or directly through a report. Here’s how:

Connect via the Data Sources Section

  1. Navigate to the Data Sources section in the main menu.

  2. You’ll see a table of all available sources, with a number next to each category showing how many sources are currently connected.

  3. Click the Connect new source button in the top right corner.

  4. Select the platform or service you’d like to connect (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Sheets, Facebook Ads).

  5. Follow the prompts to authorize and complete the connection.

Connect from Within a Report

  1. Open any report.

  2. Click Add Source or Connect new source from the data panel.

  3. Follow the same authorization process to complete the connection.

Deleting a Data Source

To permanently remove a source:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to the source(s) you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete icon from the options toolbar right after Transfer source ownership.

  3. A confirmation window will appear detailing the impact of source removal.

  4. To proceed, type DELETE in the confirmation field.

  5. Click the Remove source button to finalize the deletion.

Note: This confirmation step was added to prevent accidental deletion of the source. Deleting a source is a permanent action that may impact any reports using that data.
