In order to connect various apps to Whatagraph and use them as data sources in your reports, you'll need to have certain roles and permissions set within those app. 

Here's a list of some of the most popular integrations and the level of access you need for them:

  • Facebook Page – any role is fine until user has access to Business Manager.
  • Facebook Ads – any role is fine until user has access to Business Manager and Ads Manager. 
  • Instagram – any role is fine until user has access to Facebook Business Manager and is logged in to the right account upon connecting to Whatagraph.
  • Instagram Ads – any role is fine until user has access to Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Twitter – any role is file until user is logged into the specific account upon connecting to Whatagraph.
  • Twitter Ads – all roles except Creative Manager are fine.
  • LinkedIn – user should be set as Page Admin.
  • LinkedIn Ads – any role is fine until the user is set as Page Admin of a related LinkedIn account and has access to it within Campaign Manager. Note: Due to LinkedIn's limitations, you will only be able to see campaigns that you've created.
  • YouTube – any role is fine.
  • YouTube Ads – user should have access to a Google Ads account. All roles except Ad Exchange Manager and Legal Manager are fine.
  • Pinterest – TBD
  • Snapchat – TBD
  • Google Analytics – any role is fine.
  • Google Ads – all roles except Ad Exchange Manager and Legal Manager are fine. Access level should be higher than email-only.
  • Mailchimp – any role is fine.
