WhatConverts is a lead tracking platform that captures calls, forms, chats, eCommerce transactions, and other lead types - and attributes each one back to their marketing source.
The Whatagraph integration pulls this data into your reports so you can show clients which campaigns are generating real leads, not just clicks.
Note: This integration is currently in beta. If you run into issues or unexpected data, contact Whatagraph support.
How to connect
The integration uses an API key generated inside WhatConverts. API access is included on the Pro plan and above β Call Tracking and Plus plans don't support it.
Step 1. Log in to WhatConverts and select the account and profile you want to connect. If your account has only one profile, it's selected automatically.
Step 2. Navigate to Settings > API Keys and generate a new Profile API Key.
Step 3. Click "Generate API Key" and copy the values WhatConverts displays.
Step 4. In Whatagraph, open Data Sources and click "+ Connect new source".
Step 5. Search for WhatConverts and select it.
Step 6. Paste your keys and click "Add an account".
Step 7. Select the profile you want to connect and click "Connect your data".
Note: Each WhatConverts profile connects as a separate source. If you manage multiple client profiles, connect each one individually
What data is available
The integration reports on leads tracked by WhatConverts, including calls, form submissions, chat conversations, and transactions. Data is broken down by lead type and attributed to the marketing source, medium, campaign, and keyword that drove each lead.
Data | What it includes |
Leads | Total lead count across all types (calls, forms, chats, transactions) |
Lead type | Breakdown by lead type: phone call, form submission, chat, transaction |
Source attribution | Marketing source, medium, campaign, ad, and keyword for each lead |
Lead status | Qualified, unqualified, or not yet reviewed |
Lead value | Assigned monetary value per lead (where set in WhatConverts) |
Call details | Call duration, caller number, call status (answered, missed, voicemail) |
Note: Available data depends on what's set up in WhatConverts. Lead value, quotable status, and call recordings only populate when configured on the WhatConverts side. Attribution reflects WhatConverts' logic - not Whatagraph's.
Frequently asked questions
What WhatConverts plan do I need?
API access is available on the Pro plan and above, as well as on Agency Plus, Agency Pro, and Agency Elite plans. Users on Call Tracking or Plus plans won't be able to connect to Whatagraph. There's no separate API usage charge - access is included with the plan.
Where do I find my WhatConverts API key?
In WhatConverts, go to Settings > API Keys. Generate a Profile API Key and copy it into Whatagraph during setup. Make sure you're inside the correct account and profile before generating it.
I manage multiple client profiles. Do I need to connect each one separately?
Yes. Each WhatConverts profile is its own source in Whatagraph. Generate a separate API key for each profile and connect them individually.
The integration connected but I'm not seeing any data. What should I check?
Make sure the connected profile has active lead tracking set up and has received leads within your date range. If tracking was only recently enabled, there may be no historical data to show. Also check that the lead type you're reporting on (calls, forms, etc.) is actually configured in WhatConverts.
Can I combine WhatConverts data with Google Ads in the same widget?
Not in a single standard widget - each widget pulls from one source. If you need a combined view (e.g., cost per lead by campaign), create a Blend that joins WhatConverts with your ad platform on a shared key like campaign name.
